Graffignano Snail festival – Sagra della Lumaca

Italy is an incredible country full of history, culture, delicacies and so much more. I’ll be taking you to Graffignano, an Italian town of 2,127 (give or take) inhabitants in the province of Viterbo, in the Lazio region of Italy, to it’s Graffignano Snail festival – Sagra della Lumaca!

Finally, after two years of absence due to Covid19, the 25th edition of the Snail Festival returns to Graffignano. The event was held from 11th to 15th August 2022.

The tasting of delicious snails cooked according to the oldest typical recipes of Alta Tuscia, will be accompanied by excellent wines from the area and beyond.

In addition, the rich menu includes grilled meats, lombrichelli all’aglione, desserts and much more. The evenings will be accompanied by music, dancing and more.

Food stand opened at 7.30 pm.
