So you bought that cute little piece, you saw it on Instagram on some model and you were like I wanna look like her. Yes, me too I do that all the time then I reach home and the Reality VS Expectations don’t match! What a bummer!
Well, Ladies and Gentlemen (no discrimination here), I’ll show you just How To POSE in a Bikini with CONFIDENCE!
What’s the Difference ???
Incase you are wondering why posing in a bikini would be different from any other pose with any other outfit, well, it’s one thing posing fully dressed and it’s another posing when all your ”Curves and Crevices”, Cellulite, Bumps, Folds, Michelin Tires, Period Belly, Jiggly Arm Fat, Bum Fat, Back Fat, Armpit Fat (this is the worst I swear), Boob Fat, Fat Legs (I have this struggle, check how I conquered my fears HERE), the long list is endless! [Let me know what I missed, I’m simply basing on most of my struggles, let me know yours, let’s NORMALISE THIS Son*fa*itc*!
With all these fears and insecurities most people would result to surgery (no shade, do you, PERIOD!) and weight loss, BUT what if none of this is for you? What if you tried it all and NOTHING WORKED! Or you can’t afford to get surgery and the next best thing is chopping off that extra fat with your kitchen knife, God Forbid, but yeah sometimes we wish all this, but you are here to embrace what you have by default and LIVE WITH IT, till death! [ That was dramatic 😅]
1. Confidence
Well, dear, I’ll let you know on a secret, It’s not what you wear it’s how you wear it, said Rachel Stevens. And your best outfit is your CONFIDENCE.
When you are fully dressed in your confidence, I swear you could be dressed in a sack of potatoes, but when that radiance of confidence bounces off of you, guys will be like WOW, she/he is HOT! On the contrary, you could be dressed in Gucci from top to bottom (I love Gucci) but you walk like you have no sense of direction, you look lost, you feel MEH…. so these words, ”It’s not what you wear, it’s how you wear it,” meant just that, wear that bikini in Full confidence, nobody is going to be thinking of all your defaults….
2. The Pose ..
Look at this photo, do you see something different? I’m using one trick, ELONGATION! What this does is it makes you skinnier, with no surgery! Cool no?
Lift that neck up, stretch that back, lift that ankle, raise that bum…. are you telling me that this …
and this …
don’t they make me look like I had a BBL??? So, DON’T SAG PLEASE!
3. Know Your Angles
Compare the above picture and this one below …
The first one looks like a model from some magazine pose with no body issues, the next 3 look, well, the arms look ‘fuller’ and the legs not so ”sexy”. That’s the thing with Posing, know your ANGLES!
We all have that pretty side and ugly side, so choose what makes you look your best and pose in that! For me my sides and back look better on pictures because I can hide my chunky arms and slightly fat legs which get bigger when I’m bloated or walk for too long or sit for too long or hell, even when its too hot, WTH!
Therefore stick to the angle that best suits your body.
