Every Christmas brings with it a velvet love affair. Soft, shiny, and oh-so-festive, this gorgeous mini with faux fur on the neckline and wrists (oooh how much I love the faux fur) makes the perfect addition to any girl’s wardrobe.

Always classic, always elegant, there is a special kind of magic that comes with a bold black dress moment, isn’t there? I certainly think so, which is why I can’t imagine the Holiday season without it. What is it about a black dress that makes it so elegant, timeless, and relevant season to season? Whatever it is though, come the Holiday season, black dresses are what I tend to stock up on the most. Easy to style, the right black dress never fails to make an impression, this season, in particular, offers a slew of gorgeous styles to choose from perfect for any occasion!

Dress It Up, add Some Edge …

Accents are key! They do a great job adding a bit of edge to classic looks. Love that! This is probably the simplest and most basic way to style a velvet dress, but if you just add a pair of tights and heels you’ll be ready to go! This look would be perfect for a holiday party, and would be super cute with a faux fur black coat over top! Maybe even add some sparkly jewelry! Pearls… Pearls will always have a special place in my heart, which is why I practically live in pearl earrings. But I especially love the way they pair with black and this Revlon pinkish lippie. Love this rich, warm shade of pink because it never fails to make a statement! If you chose a bold red lippy it would be more swell…

Dramatic, elegant, and just plain fun, these gorgeous black heels with details elongate your legs like nothing else is definitely icing on the cake!
