PIAZZA NAVONA ROME

Rome is by far one of the most beautiful cities in the world full of lots of history and beauty. I will take you for a walking tour of this beautiful open-air ‘once called the Stadium of Domitian’ (In 86 CE, Emperor Domitian commissioned this square) & it used to host horse racing, Gladiator fights and Naval battles (much like the Colosseum) and now is known to be one of the most beautiful and famous squares ( Piazza’s) in the centre of Rome in Italy having 3 Fountains;

1. The Fountain of Four Rivers by Gian Lorenzo Bernini is the most famous of them.

2. Fontana del Moro (Fountain of the Moor)

3. Fontana del Nettuno (The Fountain of Neptune) . Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) is a fountain in the Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy.

Collectively, there are 4 statues or river gods representing four major rivers of the four continents through which papal authority had spread: the Nile representing Africa, the Danube representing Europe, the Ganges representing Asia, and the Río de la Plata representing the Americas.

❤There’s no place like Rome.❤
