RAVELLO, Amalfi Coast
Breathtakingly beautiful, Ravello sits above the Amalfi Coast’s seaside fishing villages. Ravello is also known as The Balcony Of The Coastiera Amalfitana. Ravello, unlike the majority of towns on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, is not on the sea. Perched on a hilltop more than 1200 feet (~365 meters) above the Mediterranean and far removed from the crowds that flock to the sea towns of Amalfi and Positano, Ravello is the hidden treasure on the Coastiera Amalfitana. Its villas and vistas have enchanted visitors for centuries. Famous actors, authors, composers, and artists have come here for refuge and inspiration. Join me on my Adventures in Italy!

CELLENO “The Ghost Village” | CELLENO “Il Borgo Fantasma”
A few kilometres from Civita di Bagnoregio, also known as the DYING CITY , there is a beautiful village, that few people know. CELLENO “The Ghost Village” Celleno, a village perched on a tuff spur in the province of Viterbo, not even far from Orvieto, has much in common with the more famous Lazio village, both united by a sad destiny and common events. Celleno was first hit by epidemics, then by landslides, terrible events that occurred in unspecified years, and finally destroyed by an earthquake in 1931. The fact is that from the end of 1800 it was abandoned. Today it is considered a GHOST TOWN! The new village…
