If you’re thinking the name Narni reminds you of something, well, you’re right. Narnia is a real place, the setting of the Chronicles of Narnia is a real Italian city in Umbria with a story to tell. Narni is a tiny hamlet, tucked away in a lush, almost wild, landscape in the Umbria region of Italy. It was built on a rocky spur overlooking the Nera Gorge. Today, we travel to the Italian City of Narni which inspired the writer, C.S. Lewis, in writing the “Chronicles of Narnia.”
