Narni is a tiny hamlet, tucked away in a lush, almost wild, landscape in the Umbria region of Italy. It was built on a rocky spur overlooking the Nera Gorge. SPELLO – The flower town of Italy
Spello is nestled on the southern flank of Mount Subasio, between Assisi and Foligno in the province of Perugia in Umbria, and it’s one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of Italy” characterized by its blooming flowers from door to door. A not to miss event is the “Infiorata”, a Flower Festival held between May and August. During this time of the year, the village becomes more beautiful thanks to this competition: all citizens can participate and adorn their doorways and houses’ facades with plants and flowers.
