How are yah my beautiful people? It’s been a hot minute since I last blogged on fashion, well, my blog is a mix of a ton of things all from Fashion, to Beauty, Lifestyle, Fitness, and Travel. (I have them in links intentionally, by the way, CLICK IT, LOL! I mean, we humans are not limited to just one thing, right? We are complex beings y’all. My blog tho is majorly on fashion so think of me as a one-stop-shop. Without further ado, today’s blog is on “The Gladiator shoes.”

Brief History about The Gladiator shoes:

Remember in ancient Roman and Greek times where trained and hot looking men would fight with weapons in battle against other men or wild animals in an arena??? Well, these gladiator shoes have existed since ancient times from them because they wore similar strapped flat sandals. Now we even have gladiator heels. Funny how fashion comes up about.

What can I say about these gladiator sandals other than the fact that they make any outfit POP! These sandals I have worn them to their fullest but still in form. Also, can you tell, they are a size smaller but no, you couldn’t tell.

I remember seeing them at a boutique and I was drawn to them because I never had such long ones and I knew they were coming with me. Paired with short dresses, skirts and even shorts they can transform any basic look. I am still on the hunt for longer and a variety of coloured gladiators but at a cheaper price, lol, miss cheapy here. I must say tho that you need to have your pedicure in check when wearing these shoes, I mean don’t put on some hot peep-toed shoes then your wiggly toes are just unkept, like Ewww! Nah, do your pedies some justice.

I paired the gladiators with this short reddish fitting dress with a chain, then draped this gorgeous sling bag with a fluffy tail-tag for that VA VA Voom effect on a basic sling bag. This is a very simple yet elegant look that’s just perfect for any casual day out, a girly brunch, or heck yeah, a date . The shoes even make your legs look sexier and you look edgier. The right shoes can truly transform any look.
